To update or reinstall the VLC app on your FireStick, follow the steps below:
- Press the Home button on your FireStick remote.
- Scroll right to Settings and select it.
- Scroll down to Applications.
- Select Manage Installed Applications.
- Find and select VLC.
- Select Clear Data (confirm twice), then select Uninstall.
- Press the Home button again.
- Go to Find and select it.
- Search for VLC and choose VLC for FireStick.
- Select Download / Install.
- Once installation is complete, the process is finished.
