🔘 GatewayHD – Clear Data and Start Fresh

If the app is running slow or not performing like it did when first installed, it is recommended to reset it and start fresh.

Reset GatewayHD App

  1. Press the Home button on your remote (on Tivo Android boxes, press the circle button below the volume button).
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Apps (on FireStick: go to Applications).
  4. Select See All Apps (on FireStick: Manage Installed Applications).
  5. Find and select GatewayHD.
  6. Select Force Stop, then Clear Data, and confirm.
  7. Open or launch the app again.
  8. When the app opens, click Save on the first screen.
  9. Re-enter your credentials.

Optimize GatewayHD Settings

  1. Open the GatewayHD home screen (Live TV / Movies / Series).
  2. Go to the top-right corner to open the hidden menu.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Go to General Settings and uncheck Open app at boot, then click Save Changes.
  5. Go back to Settings and select External Players.
  6. Add players:
    • Add MX Player
    • Add VLC Player
  7. Return back to the home screen.
  8. Start using the app by selecting Live TV, then a category, then a channel.

Recommendation

Do not add more than 10–15 channels to Favorites. Channels frequently change, which may affect app performance.
